Welcome to J&K Trains & Parts Inc., a family run business located at 1461 route 9W  Marlboro, N.Y.12542-5418.  My interest in locomotives was sparked at a young age. My grandfather worked for the NYC Railroad as a night watchman . Many trips to the train yard to pick him up from work, exposed me to a whole new world. With a special gift from Santa, an American Flyer train set, and going to my uncle sams and uncle Rockys house to watch the lionel trains , I was hooked. Years later, I discovered a vintage Lionel train set in my in-laws basement. The set had potential, but it was in dire need of repair. After a few days of tear down, cleaning and reassembly, I had brought it back from the grave. With that set, my collection was started.

     After years of searching through locomotive magazines, co-workers attics, and word of mouth for replacement parts, I found that my collection and skill at restoration was growing. I then expanded my collection further to Erector sets, Hess Trucks, and Texaco memorabilia. After 31 years, my collection has grown exponentially, and is now displayed throughout the entire basement of my house.

     In 2001, I created J&K Trains & Parts Inc., along with my wife Karryl and sons Joe and Nick, to provide service and parts to other locomotive enthusiasts like myself. As a professional dealer and a Authorised Lionel Service Station . I belong to these clubs 

Train Collectors Association (#87-24602), Metca Division TCA (#24602) Lionel Collectors Club of America (#RM10108),  Plasticville Collectors Association  and the A.C. Gilbert Heritage Society.
